The Great Old Ones

The Great Old Ones
Titans of a long ago time
From space they came
And still remain
Locked away in lost realms
Plastic prisons that suffer fools
Ours was once theirs
Every last crumb
They know it too
Waiting to be set free
To reclaim their right
As they feast upon our souls
Not for any true sustenance
But because they can
So would we
If we could
Alas we cannot
We are not the young ones
We are nothing in their eyes
Not even the retched damned
Who worship at their alter
Most vile and blasphemous beings
Yes, even the members who practice the ancient traditions
Most assuredly so
The cultists who offer up the highest praise
Shall be the first to go.
