You stand on broken glass
And never spread your wings
On your fingers barbed wire
Instead of diamond rings
Yesterday a building fell
But what were you to do?
Stood and watched with all the rest
Whose names you never knew
Scars upon the inside
Wounds upon the skin
Canโt separate the memory
From the pain within
Tears of razor blades
Roll slowly down your face
Signifies your beauty
Dignifies your grace.
