Unfortunately, over the weekend one of my “kids” I no longer live with or get to see on a regular basis slipped the bonds of time and space and crossed over the rainbow. I’ll never forgot the day he ran out of a parking lot and into the hearts of two people who loved him. For a poem about that day, try “Lost in the Parking Lot – The Ballad of Rufus.”
