Sorrows From the Night Before

sorrowsfromthenightbefore

Sorrows from the night before
Stand sulking on your basement floor
While in your attic, tomorrow’s dreams
Are clinging fast to their beams
For in their hands, there is a key
To unlock tranquility?
Which one should you stand beside
Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde?
A dream could be a nightmare in disguise
Wrapped with a pretty bow to fool the child inside.
