Autumn 2017

It’s late September and the leaves are starting to litter the ground. The leaves in the trees are still green, but gone is the lush, vibrant green of the summer. Those months have passed, but the weather they held remains. The mountains may not know the month, but they know the season. They know the leaves should be changing colors, shedding the summer green for a multitude of various red and orange hues. The leaves fall a few at a time, yet there’s no change in the color, no change in the weather.
