A CBD Strain Review: Skywalker (Plain Jane)

One cool thing about CBD is trying the same strain from different companies. Today’s review is a strain I’ve tried from a couple of different companies, Skywalker. This Skywalker comes from Plain Jane, out of Medford, Oregon. Skywalker’s an Indica Hybrid, a cross of Skywalker and OG. This one comes in at 18.48% CBD. The price for an 1/8th, or 3.5 grams, runs $12.99. Mine weighed 3.93 grams, and I thank Plain Jane because this strain is FIRE.

Plain Jane ships in sealed Mylar bags. They don’t include humidity packets. They offer another packaging option on for certain sizes, notable an 1/8th. For an extra $3, you get a blue glass jar instead of sealed Mylar. I’ve tried both options, and the extra cost isn’t worth the money as Plain Jane ships in boxes. These Skywalker buds are dark green, covered in red hairs/pistils, and look kiefy. Plain Jane buds don’t look the best, more like mids, but don’t let the look fool you. These buds are dry and almost crumble to touch. That makes it hard for me to gauge density or stickiness.

I never seem to get any noticeable taste from CBD. The smell isn’t loud, but it’s pleasing. A sweet fruit and floral scent. I was expecting a pine that most high Indica’s seem to have. However, I’m not one of these “flavor chasers.”

No, dear friends and readers, I’m after effects. As I mentioned, this Skywalker’s FIRE. Thumbs up. Top shelf. A strong Indica. I didn’t notice a lot of pain relief, more muscle relaxation. A very relaxing, couch locking strain. The perfect thing to relax after a long day, and a definite before bed smoke. Looks aside, I’m impressed. I’ll be going back to Plain Jane for all my Skywalker needs in the future. Another hit.
