Grillin’ Burgers 2021

For burgers, or anything else, some people have their own way. It works for them, they’re happy, and that’s great. Some people don’t have a method. They buy the pre-formed burgers and toss them on the grill. Then there’s people new to grillin’ burgers. They know nothing. No one has bothered to teach them, or teach them the right way. Maybe they’ve never grilled a burger. I know it sounds sad, but it doesn’t have to be. There is hope. I want to be that hope, or at least hope I can put you on the right track to becoming a grill master. These people are my target audience. As for the people with their own way, I still want you to read this. Maybe you can find something to incorporate into your system.

Grillin’ Steaks 2021

Our subject for this grill tip is steaks. I’ll cover everything from seasoning, to grillin’, and a little extra special addition at the end. I know everyone has their own way to do things. Grillin’ steaks are no different. Over the years these experienced backyard pit masters developed their own method. It works for them, they like it, and don’t want to change. I understand. If you fall into this group, I hope you’ll keep reading at least to see how other people do things. You might pick up something you can incorporate into your method. Then again, you might be new to the whole backyard barbecue scene and want to learn. I’m here to help. This is easy, and a lot of fun.

Grillin’ & Chillin’ 2020

I love to grill. I like to cook, but I LOVE to grill. It’s like cooking, which I enjoy, but different. Hank Hill would be proud. I’d tell him I use charcoal. This would disappoint him. He’d try to sell me a propane grill. I have no need for propane or propane accessories. If you’re going to use a gas grill cook inside on a burner or in the oven. In a way it’s cheating. You don’t see gas grills at a grill-off do you? No electric grills either. Charcoal is the way to go.

Taste of Home Ultimate Guide to Grilling (2016) Review

Some people might think you can’t read a cookbook. They’ll say since you can’t read one like a normal book, you can’t review one. These people are wrong. You most certainly can read a cookbook and review one. Of course a cookbook is a different type of book. This means you read and review them in a different way. I reviewed The Tabasco Cookbook a few months ago, so I know it’s possible. I did it. This isn’t a piece on how to read or review a cookbook although that’s an interesting idea for a piece. Instead, I’ll be reviewing Taste of Home Ultimate Guide to Grilling: 466 Flame-Broiled Favorites. If you like to grill, this is a useful book to have on hand.

Grillin’ Burgers

Labor Day weekend is almost here. That means two things for most people. The first is the start of the college football season. The second is the end of the grilling season. It doesn’t have to be. There is no “grilling season.” I don’t believe it, and you shouldn’t either.
