Forgotten princesses
Kings of a bygone era
Nobles at the decaying gates
All wait with anticipated wonder
Standing in awe of the beauty
That lays within the coming of the storm
No battles will be fought today
Send the squires and the pages home
They serve no purpose here
Soon all will be made clear
For in a single breath
All that is forgotten is known
While all that is known is forgotten
A vile, vicious, and dastardly cycle
That does no more to usher in the new apocalypse
Than it did to keep the old revelations intact.
